Eligibility and application requirements:

        • Possessing at least 250 hours of flight time
        • Possess a Commercial Airplane Rating
        • Must be a US Citizen 
        • Veterans encouraged 
        • Online Application (required)
        • 500 Word Essay (required)
          • How does flying seaplanes fit in to your personal story and steer your future as an aviation professional?
          • How can Tropic Ocean Airways help you get to where you want to be?
        • 100 Word Additional regarding volunteer work or community outreach
        • Resume (required)
        • Cover Letter (required)
        • Copies of pilot and medical certificates (required)
        • Copies of the last 2 pages of their logbook (required)
        • Jack Brown Seaplane School

*Prior criminal history will be reviewed during the process of obtaining a medical certificate

**Disabilities preventing applicants from obtaining an aviation medical certificate will be solely determined by an Aviation Medical Examiner.
